Pastor O has a way of way of teaching and preaching the word that is both thought provoking and insightful. His teaching challenges you to think beyond self and really allow God’s word to take over your thoughts and feelings. The best part about his teaching and preaching is how he always finds a way to insert himself into the word he is delivering, it’s one thing to be able to teach the word so that others can relate it’s another to be able to relate to the word yourself and become transparent before your flock. There’s never been a time that I have not brought a challenge to Pastor O and he NOT leave me with a word to ponder on, only to check back with me to see what I was able to reveal for myself; you have to love a man who truly has a genuine love for God and shows it in the way he treats everyone he encounters.

Has been called and anointed by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a faithful servant of the Lord and a preacher that is rooted and grounded in God’s Word. He is a gifted speaker that proclaims the Gospel with power, compassion and eloquence. His preaching edifies the saved and calls the believer and unbeliever to repentance. He upholds the Preacher’s Charge which is: to preach the word; to be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine (2 Timothy 4:2). If you ever have the opportunity to hear him preach your hearts will be encouraged.

His vocal energy delivers the anointed message with such a mannerism of invoking your entire attention to the sermon. (you will not fall asleep) His passion, humility and vision gives the congregation a reason for pursuing God’s purposes in his sermons. I can honestly say, that I am not the same person I was when I entered into the doors at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in 2012. My growth in the Lord through his 3 point messages, has been undeniable. His awesome gift is that of his teaching style with his preaching. You will always come away from his sermons with new insights to God’s holy word.

Over my years of listening to Pastor’s preach, you find yourself not as in involved in the message. By that I mean, the messenger doesn’t keep your attention. You often hear people say, “It’s about the message and not the messenger. ” For me you must be able to deliver that message in order to get people to react or inspire people to do something. See my Pastor is one of the most skillful at projecting such a sermon. He grabs your attention by giving you some background of the message. Then he gives you the body or the main points. After that you get the conclusion.
Now, let me say this, I love hearing my Pastor preach. Not only you can see and hear the passion, but you can feel it and believe. When I listen to him speak I can picture the story or I can see myself as if I am there. You feel the conviction, the desire, and the determination that what he is saying is true. For me, it’s about taking the message and applying and using it in my daily life.
An old cliché states that, “Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.” Whenever I give or write a speech I find myself imitating my Pastor. If you are looking for a pastor to entertain you then go on line or Google it, but if you are looking for a pastor to motivate, inspire, and to move you to go out and do something, better yet, “Go ye therefore and make disciples “, then listen to my Pastor speak or give a sermon. Come listen to him preach at the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church and feel what I feel.
Let me conclude with this final thought. When it comes to preparation, presentation, passion, knowledge, and BELIEF of message or sermon MY PASTOR is hard to beat.

Pastor Oyedokun’s pastoral teaching creates a demand of spiritual change among a congregation. His method of delivering God’s messages enables us to reflect collectively, which helps us look beyond our personal development and discovery, to live an inclusive Christian life. When Pastor Oyedokun teaches it is of sound doctrine which is important in today’s society. We live in a world where it seems that a person can become lost by accepting deceit, dominance, and defiance. Pastor Oyedokun is steadfast in upholding the word of God. His Christian work and teachings gives me the encouragement to strive to live a holy and separated life in the world we live in.

A Pastor who truly has a “Heart Like Jesus”. I recall it like it was yesterday, my first time hearing Pastor O, speak, February 14, 2016 during 8am Service. He said 4 things: “There Is A Word”. From that moment on, I have been blessed with his teaching, preaching and spiritual guidance.
I can recall many occasions how Pastor O’s teaching has helped me in my spiritual growth while on my spiritual journey. One in particular was the day I walked up to my door and found an Eviction Notice. I know for a fact, God is this man’s guide! As I walked up to the door and started to read the note, my phone started to ring, I looked at the phone and it was Pastor O. He said, “God told me to check up on you”. I was floored, thankful and grateful for him following the Holy Spirit.
At the very moment, he assured me; God will provide, not to worry and to remember what we talked about in 12 Noon Bible Study, when we experience God, we have to allow his will to be done, trust in him and remain FAITHFUL in my obedience. Yes, I was still in tears, but a calming came over me and I know it was God! Then, he told me; Read JOB! LOL, did he open up the Gates of Heaven and pour out a blessing on me!
I’m still in my storm, yet I know for a fact, it will be alright – Whatever “IT” is!!! The world may see it different, the world really doesn’t understand my PRAISE, but God knows and I know! Ain’t He Alright? Yes! Yes! Yes! There is Victory in my Praise!
Thank you Pastor O for being a man of God , a loving-kind Pastor and my brother in Christ.

I first would like to say I truly thank the Lord for my Pastor. Pastor thank you for always teaching and guiding me. Through your messages that you preach, I am able to walk by faith and not by sight. Anytime I spend alone with the Lord it’s as soon I get to church on Sunday. You bring the exact word that the Lord speaks to my heart. It was a time in my life I was not as bold as I am now. Pastor you always teach us to put our trust in God. Since I have been under your preaching I have done just that. Fear use to keep me hidden, but now I feel like I can do all things through Christ Jesus who saves me….. I thank God for you Pastor. Keep up the excellent teaching and preaching you do. I have learned and gained so much in my life. May the God continue to pour into you. So I can keep learning weekly. On how a true woman of God should be like. Bless you and Thank you.
