So what does it mean to be “in your feelings?” We often use this term to describe a situation that we feel like causes us some tension. If we are in our feelings it means that we are troubled by something that happened and it is causing us to feel some type of way. Most times when we are in our feelings it is because somebody else has done or said something to us that we did not like or agree with. I am convinced that if we are going to be the best we can be for God we need to “get out” of our feelings and allow God to order our steps.
I have uncovered the secret to how the enemy (Satan) affects our ministry and our dealings with others. You ready for it? You sure? He causes confusion. OMG! Really? Yes. It is that simple. He has a way of taking the unintentional and making it seem intentional! Now I am aware that some people who have put you in your feelings did it intentionally, but that is still the work of Satan. Do not minimize the word of John 10:10. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. He comes to rob you of the joy that God wants for you in your life.
If we start to understand each other and talk to each other and TRUST each other then we can come to understand that maybe what I thought you did to me wasn’t really what you intended to do. Maybe what I thought your motive was really wasn’t your motive at all. Maybe in our differences we can appreciate that I may not do things the way you do things, but it doesn’t mean I am trying to minimize what you bring to the table. When we are able to do that…MY GOD! We will be able to make a mighty impact in this World through our ministry!
